What a dream come true to train with the absolute legends at Pole Fitness Studio and receive my instructor certification from the world's most renowned pioneer of pole dance- Fawnia Mondey! Upon moving to Vegas earlier this year, I was a bit worried that I wouldn't ever find a pole studio that matched the quality of my prior one back home, another studio also quite dear to my heart. However, when I stepped into Pole Fitness, I instantly knew I found my new dance sanctuary and felt right at home.

I've known that I wanted to become a pole instructor some day when I began to realize that a good teacher is vastly more than just a person to teach you a cool trick or two- they are healers. The way that a good teacher inspires, motivates, challenges yet supports, and helps you believe in yourself in ways you never dreamed possible, is medicine! I couldn't feel luckier and more excited and humbled to have been trained by Fawnia for my certification, as she manifests the exact type of instructor I strive to emulate. I love that she places a strong emphasis on proper technique and injury prevention while still making it super fun and dance-y! It was so rewarding to combine the moves we learned in each level and put them together in a fabulous dance routine! Fawnia was also super kind and patient with us all whenever we had questions, didn't understand a move right away, etc. Her ability to break down the movements and explain common mistakes/challenges made me feel very well-equipped to tackle the challenges of being an instructor. I avidly recommend this certification to anybody who shares the dream of becoming a pole dance instructor!
